Owners Marlene and Frank Bucy are a wife-and-husband team who opened their first stationery and print store in 2007. Today, with the help of a small vibrant team, folio press & paperie is a letterpress studio, a digital print shop, and a fine stationery gift store all living together happily under one roof in Santa Barbara, California.

All folio press & paperie letterpress goods are printed on their Heidelberg Windmill presses from the 1950s and 60s, or on their 1924 treadle-powered Chandler & Price platen press. They use antique wood and lead type and retro icons along with their hand-drawn designs.
